So I learned some things recently that shocked me. As many of you know, October 12th is Columbus Day. Many may already be aware of these facts, but I suspect there are more people who don’t really strive to learn the facts behind our historic figures.
How was this ever a celebrated Holiday and why is it still?
This guy advocated the slaughter of an entire people.
The Holocaust of Columbus alone killed four million people on San Salvador in four years. The genocide did not stop after this first four million people; they were only the beginning.

If Christopher Columbus were alive today, he would be put on trial for crimes against humanity. Columbus’ reign of terror, as documented by noted historians, was so bloody, his legacy so unspeakably cruel, that Columbus makes a modern villain like Saddam Hussein look like a pale codfish.

Why do we accept what we know without ever really questioning? If you can look at this and reject it, and go on thinking what you used to about Columbus, go for it. But you lack the critical function to take in new information and I don’t think anything can be more harmful to a civilized person.
I ask you only to ask questions.
